Peter Shilton
Shilton is England’s most capped ever football player as he played in goal a total of 125 occasions. He has played his football for a number of clubs, including, Leicester City, Stoke City, Nottingham Forest, Derby County, Southampton, Plymouth Argyle and Leyton orient. He played for the English national side during the 1982, 1986 and 1990 world cup finals. He is arguably the finest ever goal keeper this country has ever produced.
Martin O’Neill
O’Neill is one of Northern Irelands most well known football players and is now viewed also as a brilliant manager. He made 64 appearances for the Northern Ireland national football side between 1971 and 1984. He commenced his career off with Nottingham Forest, playing for the club between 1971 and 1981 and won the European Cup and the league title with them. He starred for Norwich City between 1982 and 1983 and finished his career off starring for Notts County between 1983 and 1985. |
