Garry Birtles
(1970 – 1980)
Birtles was a prolific striker who had a knack of scoring crucial goals, he was very much part of the Notts Forest side that won the European Cup in back to back seasons. He helped the club win the league title in the years 1980. In total he made over 200 appearances for Forest and also enjoyed spells playing for Grimsby and Notts County.
